The Basque Railway Museum in Azpeitia is located in the building of the old Urola train station. It has one of the best rail collections in Europe, with all types of vehicles: steam, diesel and electric engines, railcars and different types of carriages. In addition, it offers visitors the chance to go on a train journey powered by a late 19th century steam engine – it’s a real experience!
